The Chevrolet SS is now available with a six-speed manual transmission.
Priced from $46,740 including destination but excluding gas guzzler tax, the 2015 Chevrolet SS can be equipped with a six-speed manual transmission for no additional charge. In fact, the extra-cost options Chevrolet offers on the 2015 SS are limited to a sunroof for $900 and a full size spare tire for $500. Other than that, the 2015 Chevrolet SS will come standard with leather seating, Chevrolet’s MyLink and an eight-inch infotainment screen with navigation.

The manual transmission is also packaged with a more aggressive 3.70 axle ratio to give the car quicker acceleration than the automatic model, which uses a 3.27 rear end despite using the same 6.2-liter V8 that churns out 415 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque.
Production will be limited to about 2,500 units per year and it likely won’t extend beyond 2017 once Holden shuts down in Australia.
